FYI... don't be mad

Hey ladies! I realize this isn't a confession blog, but I just wanted you to be aware.......................................................................................................... ha... is the suspense killin ya yet! Don't worry, it's nothin that big. :) I wanted to let you know that Lydia has strep. There. I said it. :) To the few she was around- way sorry. Ben has been fine though, so I think everybody will be okay. Through this all, I investigated myself and discovered what she had before we went to the doctor. I pretty much felt super smart. Apparently babies don't get strep. 2-10 yr olds get it, but it's called "scarlet fever". The most noticable symptom is their skin (starting on the stomach and back and spreading everywhere after) looks like sand paper- or baby acne. They might say their throat hurts and if you look back into it, their glands will be swollen. Go ahead- go check your kiddos backs. It's nothing too serious, but I would feel bad if it was passed on and you weren't aware that it was a possibility and what the symptoms are. I really do feel bad, but what do ya do...

On a happier note- you all are so great, I mean that. I have been a hermit for awhile now, sometimes even scared to answer my phone. I know, I'm a psycho, but I appreciate you all and hope to get back to my "normal" weird self soon!

Yard Sale

Ladies,

I am really wanting to do a yard sale. I don't think it would be awesome all by myself. I was wondering if any of you wanted to join in. We could do it in a couple of weeks and call it an end of summer yard sale. I can advertise and put posters up.

If no one wants to do it, I can just take all my stuff to D.I. Was just hoping to earn some money off of my 'treasures.' :)

Ladies Night cont...

I only heard from a select few of you about ladies night next week. Sorry I had to reschedule, but it's a good thing I did (details later). I am still planning on hosting next week, Tuesday night (July 27th) at 9:00. Does anyone have any FaBuLoUs ideas of what we should do? If not, that is fine. We can always just sit around, eat, and chat (things we all seem to be good at!).

Diaper Deal!

I just found a deal that I had to share. I've always bought diapers at Costco and thought they were a good price, but yesterday I was browsing on Amazon and discovered that they sell all the major brands of diapers as well. Here's where the deal comes in: if you sign up for the "Subscribe & Save" option you save 30% plus free shipping!

That's a savings of about $7 a box! With how many boxes of diapers each little bum goes through, that could eventually save quite a bit of money. Add that to the convenience of having someone deliver them right to your house (and doesn't everyone love getting packages? Even if they are just diapers!) however often you'd like, with no commitment. To top it off, you can choose any type of diaper you want - i.e. Swaddlers, Little Movers, Cruisers, etc.... rather than just the standard kind they sell at Costco/Sam's Club. That's all. My excitement for diapers is lame :)

Halloween Wreath

I know that this is jumping ahead quite a little but, but so what.

Last year I saw some really cool feather wreathes at JoAnn.

At first I thought they were strange but the more I thought about it (and think about it), I want one for my front door...for HaLLoWeeN of course.

Here is my dilemma, it was expensive.

Would anyone want to make one? If so where do we find inexpensive black feathers?

I'm a very BIG Halloween fan.

If you can't tell by the fact that this post is ahead of it's time and I actually waited a month or so to post it.

just a thought

I received an email about Day Relief Society next Wednesday. Should we still try for a ladies night on Tuesday? Will it be too much with the activity the next day? Would anyone be up for Ice Cream earlier that night (Leatherby's, Cold Stone, etc.) and then taking the party to my house for the night owls?

I feel like I don't see you gals anymore and it saddens me. Is anyone opposed to starting Ladies Night back up? How come they stopped anyway? Does everyone have crazy schedules? If so, we can change up the day and time if that works better. All I know is I hunger for good old-fashioned chit-chat. Please let me know, and I will start planning something!
